Quarter Deck B&B offers quality accommodation overlooking the delightful fishing village of San Remo. Watch the pelicans being fed, visit the Penguins and the Seal Rocks Sea Life Centre, the Koala Conservation Park and Churchill Island or many of the other nearby attractions. Alternatively you can relax or surf on the beautiful Bass Coast beaches.
Pam & Ron Scott have had many enjoyable and successful years in the customer service industry, and Pam now operates Quarter Deck. Upon arrival you will be warmly greeted and offered refreshments.
The views from the upstairs deck are extensive and include ocean, bay and island views, and complement our Australian style, or Continental breakfast served out on the Deck in the warmer weather. Should guests prefer an alternative breakfast we are happy to oblige and religious or dietary requirements will be met wherever possible.
Local knowledge is an asset in making the most of your stay and Pam will assist with planning your sightseeing visits, walking tours and also suggest interesting places to eat.
Quarter Deck opened in March 1997 with a large self-contained family suite unit downstairs (“Warrior”) and a double/twin room upstairs (“Victory”). This room has an adjoining spa bathroom and separate toilet with private access to the upper deck. Our new “Mary Rose” self contained suite with spa bath, has bay views with outside balcony and a garden aspect.
Quarter Deck is less than 100 minutes from Melbourne and is located at the "high" end of San Remo, a lovely fishing village of about 900 people. The bridge leads to Phillip Island where the famous Penguins and Koalas can be seen. Our local facilities include food outlets and two excellent hotels.
This is a central location for visiting tourist (and not so "touristy") locations where the major attractions are only 15 minutes away by car in each direction. Wilson’s Promontory is a very pleasant day trip away.
The tariff, including a good Australian breakfast starts from $130 per couple per night (all inclusive) with discounts for longer stays. Special offers are also available from time to time, so please feel free to enquire! Quarter Deck can accommodate children (a small charge applies according to age). Quarter Deck is strictly a non-smoking property. (Smokers trays provided outside.) Visa, Bankcard and MasterCard are accepted.
