The island is renowned for its scenery, beaches and many other diverse attractions.
Cowes' sandy foreshore is unique in that it is the only North facing beach in Victoria. It is protected from the southerly winds that sometimes prevail. The main street of Cowes has a large number of boutique shops and a varied array of restaurants and food outlets.
The lounge room opens up via two sliding doors to a patio deck featuring a large gas BBQ and outdoor setting. This area, adjacent to a good sized rear yard, is perfect for that lazy afternoon barbecue with some measure of protection from the afternoon sun that is prevalent in the summer months.
This house is made for the family holiday - perfect for children in that the Cowes beach is safely accessed via two short laneways.
Accommodation
"Sandy Bay" is a three bedroom open plan cottage (with carport) that sleeps seven people in comfort.
The main bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has two single beds and the third has a double bed with a single bunk bed above.
Features include very comfortable furniture, polished floorboards, ceiling fans in living area and main bedroom, 51cm TV, DVD and CD players and a washing machine.
The new kitchen is well proportioned and fully equipped with all necessary items including electric stove, microwave and a large fridge - perfect for preparing a snack or a holiday banquet.
